This process allows the graphic to be thermally bonded to the top layer of the KYDEX thermoform sheet, while maintaining the original sheet's texture and size better than any other infusion product. For DIY thermoforming, Kydex Thermoform Sheet is very similar to both Holstex and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, this material will retain the shape of the item used to mold it. In its cooled state, it is highly durable and lightweight, making it widely used in thermoform holster making, cosplay costume creation, removable surface coverings, keel guard protectors, and much more.

The Infused Prints are applied using our leading digital infusion process, which allows the graphics to be thermally bonded to the top layer of the KYDEX thermoform sheet while maintaining the original sheet's texture and size. By preserving the most original sheet texture, our process enables the graphic to display a 3D depth like never before, resulting in the best infusion print on the market.

The texture applied to the surface of the Kydex sheet is referred to as P1 "Hair Cell", a common texture for holsters, sheaths, and other carry items. This uniform texture across the surface of the material produces a non-reflective, scratch-resistant finish.

To use Kydex thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-375 degree Fahrenheit range and place it over the object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand the edges to the desired shape.
