The HOLSTEX Basketweave Thermoform Sheet is the latest breakthrough in DIY holster making materials, designed for small to medium-scale heat forming and a revolutionary step forward for professional sheath and holster makers. The HOLSTEX sheet colors and basketweave texture finish were created to offer holster and sheath makers maximum appeal and usability in their holster designs, with industry-standard scratch resistance and uniform dual-side texture coverage.

The HOLSTEX Basketweave texture is a 3D textured surface that is compatible with the basketweave textures commonly seen on Law Enforcement belts, Police duty gear, and other custom leather items. This texture is a raised surface texture and does not distort or fade with forming like the aftermarket KYDEX basketweave texture currently on the market.

HOLSTEX Basketweave Thermoform Sheet is available in three different sheet sizes: 8in x 8in, 8in x 12in, and 12in x 12in. The material is easy to form and is very similar to both KYDEX and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, the material will keep the shape of the item that was used to mold the shape into place, and it is very durable and lightweight.

The HOLSTEX Basketweave Sheet is highly durable, scratch-resistant, and will not fade. The heights and depths of the 3D Basketweave texture are high contrast and very detailed, matching the same basketweave design seen on Police belts and holsters, and working very well with custom tooled basketweave items.

To use the HOLSTEX Basketweave Thermoform Sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered, heat the material to a 300-320 degree Fahrenheit range, and place it over the object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand the edges to the desired shape.
