The Woodgrain - Pattern 1 pattern is applied using our industry-leading digital infusion process. Our process allows the graphic to be thermally bonded to the top layer of the KYDEX thermoform sheet, while still preserving the original sheet's texture and size better than any other infusion product. The base sheet is a 0.08 gauge cell/smooth finish Desert Tan KYDEX, sold in (11.5 x 11.5) inch nominal size sheets. The specifications are as follows: Material - KYDEX; Color - Desert Tan; Thickness/Gauge - 0.08 Inch; Size - (11.5 x 11.5) Inches; Pattern - Woodgrain - Pattern 1; and Texture - Cell/Smooth.

The Graphic Process is Digital Infusion, and the KYDEX Thermoform Sheet is Graphic Infused. It includes HolsterSmith Instructions for DIY thermoforming. The KYDEX Thermoform Sheet is very similar to both Holstex and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, this material will retain the shape of the item used to mold it. In its cooled state, it is highly durable and lightweight. This material is widely used in holster making, cosplay costume creation, keel guard protectors, and much more.

To use the KYDEX thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-375 degree Fahrenheit range and place it over the object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand the edges to the desired shape.
