The Kryptek Obskura - Nox - Micro pattern is applied to our KYDEX thermoform sheet using our industry-leading digital infusion process. This process allows the graphic to be thermally bonded to the top layer of the KYDEX sheet while maintaining the original sheet's texture and size better than any other infusion product. By preserving the most original sheet texture, our process enables the graphic to display a 3D depth that has never been achieved before, making this the best infusion print on the market.

The base sheet is a 0.08-gauge cell/smooth finish Desert Tan KYDEX, sold in a nominal size of (11.5 x 11.5) inches. KYDEX Thermoform Sheet is very similar to both Holstex and Boltaron in terms of its formability when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, the material will retain the shape of the item used to mold it. In its cooled state, it is highly durable and lightweight, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications, including holster making, cosplay costume creation, and keel guard protectors.

The Infused Prints are applied using our leading digital infusion process, which allows the graphics to be thermally bonded to the top layer of the KYDEX thermoform sheet while maintaining the original sheet's texture and size. By preserving the most original sheet texture, our process enables the graphic to display a 3D depth that has never been seen before, resulting in the best infusion print on the market.

To use the Kydex thermoform sheet, simply score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered, heat the material to a 300-375 degree Fahrenheit range, and place it over the object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position. Once cooled, remove the piece and sand the edges to the desired shape.
