The 23 standard KYDEX sheet colors we stock were primarily developed for the custom holster and sheath making market over the last 20 years but can also work in many other DIY projects. The KYDEX solid colors were designed to match specific color standards within the various genres they were blended for. This allows our customers to match most of the existing outdoor, survival, military, and law enforcement clothing and gear when creating their custom projects. KYDEX sheet colors such as hot pink, hunter orange, purple haze, and tiffany blue were designed to add spice to lifestyle holster making, a very popular trend.

We offer three different KYDEX sheet sizes: 8in x 8in, 8in x 12in, and 12in x 12in. This KYDEX thermoforming material is easy to form, with quick steps to create various DIY projects.

In addition to our standard KYDEX sheets, we also offer Carbon Fiber Holstex, Basketweave Holstex, and Raptor Holstex thermoform sheets. These materials share similar thermoforming properties to KYDEX, allowing for a variety of DIY applications.

The KYDEX sheet's P1 "Hair Cell" texture is uniform across the surface, producing a non-reflective, scratch-resistant finish. To use the material, simply score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered, heat it to 300-375 degrees Fahrenheit, and mold it around the object using forming foam. Once cooled, the material will retain the shape, and the edges can be sanded to the desired finish.
