For DIY thermoforming, the KYDEX Thermoform Sheet is very similar to both Holstex and Boltaron in the way it forms when heated and molded around an object. Once cooled, this material will retain the shape of the item that was used to mold it. In its cooled state, it is highly durable and lightweight. It is widely used in holster making, cosplay costume creation, keel guard protectors, and much more.

Thickness: 0.08 Inches Easy to Form: To use the KYDEX thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-375 degree Fahrenheit range and place over the object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand the edges to the desired shape. (Detailed instructions included with order.)
